Police in Chicago said that Lil Marc was shot in the head, and a witness said a gunman shot the 20-year-old rapper using a handgun with an extended clip. "R.I.P 2 my lil f-ing ni–a #lilsnupe I tried everything in my power 2 get that kid out of the streets!" Meek wrote in a tweet he would later delete. Afterward his mentor Meek Mill implied that Snupe had a hard time breaking with his old life. In June rapper Lil Snupe was gunned down in Louisiana. The music video also featured a clip of Lil Marc in a Facetime conversation with Lil Reese where the two men from rival gangs taunt each other, though it is not clear if it was serious or in jest.
